Piston Homogenizer
The piston homogenizer is a kind of deep processing equipment, this function is mainly completed by high-pressure homogenization valves. A piston homogenizer is mainly composed of a motor, piston pump, homogenizing valve, and so on.
Piston homogenizers can be divided into single-piston homogenizers and multi-piston homogenizers, depending on the quantity of piston. The most common is a three-plunger homogenizer. In addition to the most common, we also offer single-piston homogenizers, four-piston homogenizers, five piston homogenizers.
Category Of Piston Homogenizers
LDTD Piston Homogenizer Features
The minimum output is 5L, and the maximum output can reach 20000L/H.
It is used not only in dairy products but also in the bio-pharmaceuticals and chemical industries.
The machine has enough power to run. it works stably. The manometer swings a little.
In addition to stainless steel 304, stainless steel 316L, duplex stainless steel 2205 can also be applied to the manufacture of pump heads.
How To Make Pistons For
The Piston Homogenizer?
Choose stainless steel as the raw material for Pistons.
Cut the raw material into different dimensions required.
Process them roughly on the lathe machine.
Do heat treatment after primary processing.
Perform fine-grade machining, to obtain the desired size.
Enhance the appearance of surfaces.

How To Inspect Piston Homogenizers?
In the process of piston homogenizers, we use various tools to inspect.
During the processing of the parts, our inspector conducts an inspection. After the part is processed, QC will use the vernier caliper, dial meter, micrometer, and depth gauge to fully check the part.
Flow meters, thermometers, and noise meters are used during commissioning to observe the work of the piston homogenizer.

The structure of the single piston homogenizer is very simple. It mainly consists of an eccentric shaft, plunger, cylinder block, and check valve. The plunger and cylinder house form a closed volume, the eccentric shaft rotating once, the plunger reciprocating once, and the valve completing the suction and discharge action.
The main difference between the single-piston homogenizer and the multi-piston homogenizer is that their structures are different. Single-piston homogenizers have only one plunger, whereas multi-plunger homogenizers have multiple plungers. Multi-piston homogenizer uses one casting body to integrate multiple plungers together for completing fluid suction and discharge action.
The answer is the multi-piston homogenizer is a better choice.
When using a multi-plunger homogenizer, several plungers are in the process of discharging or suctioning at the same time. Due to the multiple plungers working together, multi-piston homogenizers have the advantage of a large displacement when the plunger geometry is the same, compared with a single-piston homogenizer.
In addition, the flow pulsation coefficient is greatly reduced, because the instantaneous flow curve of the multi-piston Homogenizer is the superposition of multiple single-piston homogenizer sinusoidal instantaneous flow curves, which greatly reduces the flow pulsation.
