Laboratory Homogenizer Principle

A Laboratory homogenizer allows one or more phases of a liquid to enter another insoluble liquid efficiently and uniformly.  Normally the phases are insoluble.

The Lab Homogenizer can be used for a variety of dispersive emulsification processes, as well as for the production of homogeneous mixtures including emulsions, suspensions, and colloids.

Laboratory Homogenizer: Ultimate FAQ Guide

If you are searching for information about laboratory homogenizers, you will get the result here.
The guide provides all the information you require such as design, materials, and configurations.

What is A Laboratory Homogenizer?

A laboratory homogenizer is mini mixing equipment during fluid processing. It can mix different liquids perfectly and evenly. It is usually used in the research and development department.

Laboratory homogenizers are available in a variety of different shapes, and sizes, and are easy to maintain therefore can be very affordable compared to the industrial homogenizers.

If you require to develop your new dairy products formula, develop a new juice flavor, improve the processing of the technology of your product, and prolong your ice cream shelf life, LDTD laboratory homogenizer is your best choice.

What flowrate of lab homogenizers are available?

Our laboratory homogenizers come in a variety of flow rates.  Standard capacity is from 30L/h-200L/h, and Max pressure ranges from 25Mpa-120Mpa. If you want to handle liquids of 200ml and below, we can also provide this type of lab homogenizer.

How Much Does A Laboratory Homogenizer Cost?

A laboratory homogenizer comes with different capacities, pressure, shapes, and configurations, so there is a wide range of models for your selection.

A standard lab homogenizer costs from $3000-$15000.

How Do You Make the Laboratory Homogenizer?

The manufacturing process of a laboratory is shown below.

Step 1: Decide on suitable frame material and the material of the part in contact with the fluid.

The support frame is normally made of A 3 square tube. Stainless steel 304 square tube could be selected for the frame.

In most cases, choose stainless steel 304 as the material for the pump head and cylinders. Other materials can be selected according to your specific materials.

For the material of the key parts, we decide which material to use for wearing parts based on your specific requirements.

Step 2: Cutting and Welding

The frame is made up of square tubes of different sizes. Firstly cut different types of square tubes to the required size. Welding is connecting square tubes of different sizes together to form a whole frame.

The stainless steel 304 sheet is cut from big sizes into small sizes or various shapes.

The round steel needs to be shortened to a specific size.

How Do You Maintain the Laboratory Homogenizer?

The lubricating oil should be drained out if the laboratory homogenizer has been used once and is not used again for a long period of time.

The laboratory homogenizer must be cleaned immediately after use.  The lab homogenizer should be cleaned with hot water (with a temperature of 65-75 °C) after it is finished working. The water for cleaning must be drained.

It is necessary to discharge the valve, valve seat, homogenizing rod other parts and clean the valve, valve seat, homogenizing rod, and other parts if it has not been used for a long time.
